ALL LPISD SCHOOLS WILL RESUME REGULAR SCHEDULES ON THURSDAY, 1/23

Greetings, La Porte ISD families and staff. After meeting with superintendents from across the Greater Houston area this afternoon, along with meteorologists and city and county officials, we have made the decision – along with neighboring districts -- to proceed with our regular school schedule tomorrow -- Thursday, January 23 . We expect that our buses will run on schedule, but we also advise you to use our SmartTag app for exact pickup and drop-off times. Further, though much of the frozen precipitation has thawed, early morning temperatures are still forecast to be very cold. Please prepare accordingly, and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.
